Accounting in the cloud P4 Books

Here you will set up the tax authority, this is the entity that will pay your sales tax.

Master Data>Accounting>Tax Authority

Once in the Tax Authority configuration screen, click on the New button.

Here you will enter the name of the Tax Administration and select the G/L Account for this Tax Administration.

The typical setup is to enter the sales tax payable G/L account.
