P4 Warehouse Data Entry Setup

On this screen you will configure the default values for Data Entry.

P4 Warehouse Data Entry Setup

1. Picking Ticket Number Prefix – This is the prefix that will appear before sales order numbers. (PCK-0001).
2. Warehouse Transfer Number Prefix – This is the prefix that will appear before transfer order numbers. (TRNS-0001).
3. Default Freight Type – This will be the default freight type. If you are shipping mostly FedEx or UPS here you would select Small Package. This is the default, however at the order level you can select the correct shipping method.
4. Default Count on Shipment – This is to require a new count of the product before completing the shipping process.
5. Default Signature on Shipment – This will make the order require a signature on shipment and allow for a photo of the product to be captured prior to shipment.
6. Default Count on Delivery – This will require the delivery driver to recount each pallet or box on delivery.
7. Signature on delivery by default – This will require the delivery driver to require a signature from the customer on delivery. Additionally, a photo can be captured in the delivery process.
8. The package size entry type is Packages or Units, this determines the default label to print depending on the type of warehouse you operate.
9. Duplicate SKU Value – Determines whether duplicate SKUs are allowed on an order. This is often set to “Prevent” to reduce the possibility of double data entry. This is extremely useful when entering large orders.
