P4 Warehouse

Data Entry – This setup page provides options to edit the Pickup Ticket Number Prefix, Default Freight Type (LTL, Small Package, or Other), Default Count on Shipment, Default Signature on Shipment, Default Count on Delivery, Default Signature on Delivery, and Package Size Entry Type (Packages or Eaches). A typical Pickup Prefix might be “PCK-” (which will precede the pickup ticket numbers). The Package Size Entry Type defaults to Packages. After editing any entries, select the “Save” button at the bottom right.

Automation – This configuration page presents Auto Assign on Release to Floor (whether an order should auto assign itself when released to the floor; Yes/No toggle), Auto Ripple on Assignment (whether an order should auto ripple when assigned; Yes/No toggle), Auto Ship on Last Pick (whether an order should auto ship when last picked; Yes/No toggle), and Auto Close on Ship (whether an order should auto close when shipped; Yes/No toggle). Both default values are “No”. After modifying any entries, select the “Save” button at the bottom right.

Assignment – This configuration page presents Zones to Include (comma separated list of zones to include in the allocation; example A1,B2,C3), Allocation Style (options for allocation behavior; FIFO=First In, First Out; LIFO=Last In, First Out; Container Name=Based on alphanumeric sorting of containers; Custom=Based on alphanumeric sorting of the container Sequence Number value: default FIFO) Short Options (options for short behavior; Ship Short will allow short orders to be shipped; Hold Short will not release an order for picking but will reserve stock; default: Ship Short), Allocate Bulk (include LPNs in picking zones during allocation for picking; Yes/No toggle, default: No), Allow Expiration (minimum number of days to allow on an expired product to be allocated, this option is overridden by a customer setting; default: 45) and Allocate Bulk (include LPNs in picking zones during allocation for picking; Yes/No toggle, default: No), Allow Expiration (minimum number of days to allow on an expired product to be allocated, this option is overridden by a customer setting; default: 45) and Allocate Bulk (include LPNs in picking zones during allocation for picking; Yes/No toggle, default: No). Undulation – This setup page presents the SSCC Packaging Type (options are Case or Carton, Pallet, Intracompany Use, or Indefinite), SSCC Global Company ID, Wave Number Prefix (default: WV), Multi-Zone Wave (checkbox), Number of Cartons (default: 1), and Number of Copies (default: 1). After modifying any entries, select the “Save” button at the bottom right. a. If an order is not Waved, it will move to an Unassigned Status (Allocating stock reservations in the warehouse specifically for your pick tick).
