Types of Users

At P4 Warehouse there are two completely unique styles of users.

Web Dispatcher: The web dispatcher uses a computer and a modern web browser to manage the flow in and out of the warehouse. The web dispatcher also controls the workflow of PDT users. Think of web dispatchers as the control tower at an airport.

PDT User: PDT users are the people in the warehouse carrying out the instructions set by the Web Dispatcher. These are the people who physically receive Purchase Orders and RMA's, pick and ship outbound orders, and perform Cycle Counting of inventory. These users work from a mobile device, usually with a barcode scanner.

Android

Android Nuget and higher will work with the P4 Warehouse System. P4W Handheld can be downloaded to an Android device from Google Play Store.

It is recommended that the Android device has a built-in barcode scanner. Zebra Technologies hardware works best as the P4 Warehouse WMS is validated by Zebra to work properly on their Android Mobile Computers.
